i had a strange one tuesday night. Me Lee and Clare were at the Leeds Acadamy and then when The Cribs came on we all lost each other going down the front. the gig started but the songs they were playing were justa all covers. I remember one being The Clash but i don't remember which song it was and dont remember any of the others. Then they went to play womens needs and Ryan shouted at Gary cos he was throwing his base around and then Gary put his bass down and started randomly playing a keyboard and was really fucked so was playing it really really bad  . then there was this curtain that came down and they went off stage. then i was walking about and saw my friends from home who was like "you need to get out" and i saw loadsa people running so was like why? and then my mate went cos theres an unexploded hand granade which was gonna go off.then then i was running through this hall which was a bit like the refectory and the floor was dead slippy and i did that thing where in your dream you just cant run and kept falling over so i crawled accross the floor which seemed like such an effort. then i was running down this big snicket outside looking for anyone i knew and then the dream changed to been at my bus stop and bumping into my supervisor. what a strange dream!!!

I've had two dreams about The Cribs that I can remember, the first one Johnny was mu uncle and the second one Ross was like my best friend.

The one where Johnny was my uncle was so funny, it was like he was an American not English, which was really odd. I guess my head can't do English accents. :P But, I remember talking to him a lot about random crap. I wish he were my uncle, that'd be so awesome.

The one where Ross was my best friend, the Cribs were doing some concert thing with a bunch of other bands in some farm thing somewhere in Oregon. But, I forgot the other bands, and I never got to see The Cribs perform. But, I do remember running into Ross a lot, and we became friends. :) It was super cool.

I was kind of ashamed with myself the other week cos I felt that at my age I shouldn't be dreaming about stuff like this even if it is my favourite band & can only compare it to an almost unhealthy obsession i've had about Bob Dylan since I decided that he, in the mid 60s, was the coolest mf to have walked the planet.
You try not to bang on about it to friends & loved ones but you're convinced that you're doing them a favour by shoehorning little facts in any chance you get, & that by doing this they'll eventually realise that you were infact right to worship as you do n that they too can then die happy.

Anyway in my dream I was at a gig & I was sat on the stage while The Cribs were doin' "Another Number" when all of a sudden Ryan stuck the mic in front of my face so I could sing the next few lines.
That is where the dream stopped bein' a nice one cos my mind went completely blank & suddenly I hadn't a clue how the song went.
This made Ryan lose his place in the song, he turned to Gary for some guidance but he just shrugged & said he hadn't a clue either & then everyone started booing & Ryan was havin' a right go at me for ruining the gig.
I then woke up n all that day kept gettin' a feelin' that something awful had happened which was quickly followed by a sense of relief that my subconcious was just reminding me of my nightmare.
It's all so ridiculous when you look at it rationally, (this only happens occasionally) but it is also an opportunity to laugh at yourself & realise that really none of us are the slightest bit important in the grand scheme of things anyway. Good that's what I say. :D
He who laughs last is a thick f*****
