that did indeed live up to the epic I had in my head

so so so so soooooooooooooooooo much better than Leeds
anyone who says London crowds are rubbish talk out of their arses
whole of the floor was jumping come mens needs
be safe was atmospheric again and city of bugs holy hell how can you describe that song
You throw yourself to the perilous static
You shut your eyes but the death is romantic
You’ve sold your soul but it’s only a fake
You’d kill yourself for a piece of the take

Absolutely great gig. The fusion between The Cribs and Johnny is just brilliant. Not quite as raw, but as polished as the queens table combined with grit. I loved it. 6th time seeing them. Apart from KCLSU, this was a belter :)

Some photos..

We can no longer cheat you and Direction back to back. Bliss. We share the same skies, Ignore the Ignorant, Hari Kari were great. City of bugs was a bit of a let down for me. It's just not a closer! Only 'low' point though! Men's Needs was mental as was Girls like Mystery!

Well enjoyed it. Went to a pub beforehand called the Pineapple only a few mins walk from the veune. Great choice as the ones nearer the Forum looked packed!

Still slightly drunk and seem to of aged 5 years over night. By the end of the gig i'd been awake for 24 hours!!

I disagree
I love it as an ender I came out on such a high last night and drenched through even though I hadnt been in the pit
just to the side on the raised area but did not stopping jumping

hannah
where did you go?
did you get back ok?
sorry I didnt get to chat to you :(

Lets agree to disagree. Dont think it's 'sing-along' freindly enough to be the closer. If they want to finish on a different song do it with Be Safe. That's the most Epic song live. I love it to bits on record but Live it's speical.

THAT WERE EPIC!

I was down the front at the left of the stage near Johnny, screaming We can no longer cheat you with some bloke next to me!

Brilliant!

To Jackson is awesome for that kinda thing. Especially when literally NO ONE else around is singing along except the two of you.
