ha, i've got Miracle on 34th Street on DVD, i love it! It's also tradition to watch National Lampoons every year. Home Alone, The Santa Clause and A Christmas Carol too.
And not forgetting all the shite channel 5/Movies 24 films, just for the lulz...

I had a theory that it was officially Christmas the first time Home Alone was show on normal tele.

Channel 5 ruined that by showing it in July :(

It isn't Christmas without a bit of Wallace and Gromit. Don't think you can really class some of them as films though. Like The Wrong Trousers (which, by the way, is terrifying). Forget your Hostels and your Saw I, II, III....ad infinitum, that penguin out of The Wrong Trousers gives me nightmares.

Are you kidding me?? It's A Wonderful Life!!.......and...Santa Claus (1985), Elf and Prancer. For some reason Zulu always comes into the equation. Planes Trains and Automobiles is also a massive Christmas winner.

I watch it every year at the local cinema around Christmas time and once it ends after the whole "every time a bell rings" bit the audience give it a big round of applause and as the lights go up there is barely a dry eye in the house. Except mine of course. Although I do shed a tear for John Candy in Planes Trains and Automobiles when Steve Martin gets his train home for Thanks Giving and leaves him at the station.......
