Really wish I could go to this but I have to work the next day and I'm not sure how easy it would be to travel back to Southampton in time. :( Oh well.

9pm-2am, mental. The last train to London is at about 11.40.

So I've booked on the first train in the morning instead :D
see *someone* there, I hope?

If I was to the get a morning train to Southampton I could actually get away with taking the fourth or fifth train of the day and still get to work in plenty of time. Wish I knew someone who lived in Brighton. Anyway, i've spent way too much time trying to think of ways I could go to this, thinking its time to give up. At least I've got tickets to the Wichiten gig!

Pretty gutted that i can't made this. The finances just wont stretch ( ive spent way too much money on t in the park tickets, Wichiten ticks, and Leeds fest!), and also its slap bang in the middle of my uni exam timetable, and im about to go into 4th year so these ones count :(

For those of you going, have a fabulous time. Im gritting my teeth as i type that!

:D After much consideration (and internet research) I have found a way to go to this! Found a cheap hostel to stay in overnight, near the venue and with no curfew, probably really skanky but who cares. My friend has agreed to come with me, so will be traveling down after work and then hoping on a train early the next morning to make it back in time for work on Friday. I'm going to be completely knackered but its worth it!

ah sweet! I've booked my train there from Surbiton, getting in at 9.01 (booked it when I thought I was going alone) but it was only a fiver, so if you want to meet up in London/Brighton for drinks or whatnot before that, I can fuck it off and get another ticket :)
plus it'll be good to have company while we're waiting in the station at 3am, haha! :)

Oh man this is so SOON, I never really realised!

yeah that sounds like a plan to me. we can meet you for pre-pavement gig drinks too if your not busy? :) . i'm pretty sure our train is 6am Brighton to Taunton or something like that. i'll ask Cath which train where on to Brighton from London when she gets home from her drum lesson and let you know :)

I'm sure, no matter how much work I've got on or how busy I am, I could take an hour or two for the pre-Pavement drinks too :)
