I cancelled my pre-order with Wichita and pre-ordered it with Crash instead cause then I don't have to pay postage and I will definitely get it on release day! Plus Crash is awesome.

I spent like 6 quid on recordstore.
My first Cribs song i've ever bought and I can't even listen to it as no record player.
Plus I hate the colour red.

Still it'll be a nice chew toy for my animals

Did you just buy it because it's limited to 500 and you didn't want to miss out? What a waste

It's the best single they've ever done (released), (since i've heard of them) I will put it with all my other vinyls,

Here's an epic high-res image of the new artwork:

In all fairness, isn't that exactly why we all blindly clicked [buy] without thinking of possible devastating consequences for our bank accounts?

Perhaps Levena's guinea pigs (you had guinea pigs right?) love the Cribs and a good deed is done. My guinea pigs love Morrissey (but they don't get his records, I refuse buying that for them). I once bought book holders (uhm, what's that properly called?) made out of Cribs 7" singles. I know it's a waste of those singles but better I bought them than some random hipster-type who has never heard of the Cribs and just thinks it's a cool design.

Yeah I have guineapigs, 1 is evil and will eat anything, even human skin, ouch.
I wouldn't really let them chew the actual vinyl, don't wanna kill them. Would make a great frizbee for my bunny, haha.

I actually got it because I do like the single and yes it is rare, be a nice colletcors item in years to come, I didn't know them when they released rare singles before mnwnw era, I do have other vinyls lying about but they were free and from local bands or from magazines. And we used to have a record player, don't know if it got chucked out or what :-)

I'm just staunchly against buying records and then not playing them! It's a crime!

bookends? The kind that go either end of a row of books? I've seen vinyl ones before and they look properly fantastic, I'd love some Cribs ones...and I've got a spare Men's Needs floating around...

Yes, bookends! Thank you :) They look quite fantastic and well, why not try? Might be a little cheaper than the ones I got (but not that much).

mas

Yeah I know what you mean, At the time I was getting into records the first thing I did was ask for a record player for Christmas. I think it would have killed me not beng able to listen and owning them, talk about teasing yourself  .

Anyways I pre-ordered my copy from Crash last week can't wait to pick it up :) . Really looking forward to hearing Don't Believe In Me after hearing it in Kingston a couple of year ago. The art work is absolutely class too!

Nothing new at the merch table but shirts (figured there weren't any of the new singles, but worth a shot, they did have Housewife and the S/T vinyl), about to avail myself of Crash's relatively affordable shipping rate.

New shirts? Really? This is not good news for someone with a slight band shirt addiction.

Only one that was new new was just the green lettering w/ hands shirt, but with this tour's dates. I didn't get it, the black one with the mailbox-sticker logo was more than enough.

(I know the feeling, I have most of my money tied up in band shirts.)
